In Math we are working hard on recognizing our coins and their values. We played a fun game called “Quarter Race” where we rolled a die and added pennies then traded in 5 pennies for a nickel, two nickels for dime, and then traded 2 dimes and a nickel for the quarter. We played the game on the promethean board as a class then got to play with partners. We’ll continue to work hard on making combinations of coins and counting their values.
