We finished up our animal unit with the study of fish and integrated a favorite fish story Rainbow Fish! There were several different adventures about Rainbow Fish and after reading them and discussing the story details the kids wrote their own Rainbow Fish adventure and got to paint Rainbow Fish. After we finished up our animal unit the students wrote Animal Riddles about their favorite animal. They had to give clues about the animal and tell what animal class it belongs to. Here is a sample of what we did. Jordan did a great job of sharing!
