About Me

My photo
Mrs. Schmelzer
This will be my 25th year of teaching! I absolutely love my job! Teaching 1st grade is so rewarding and makes going to work fun every day! I have been married to Scott for 24 years. We have 3 daughters. Karley is 20 and will be a junior at Emporia State. Bradie is 18 and will join Karley at Emporia State this fall as a freshman. They will also play together on the softball team there. Madison is 14 and will be in 8th grade. She goes to school in Garden Plain. Family time is very important to me. We spend a lot of time traveling to ball games, shopping, playing cards, and exercising. I also have a sweet cockapoo named Remi. I have been very blessed!
